Located 8 miles outside the quaint, historic, small town of Calico Rock, AR in the Ozark Mountains.
This is real country, folks! Dirt and gravel roads, and our driveway is rocky. We strongly recommend
a 4-wheel drive vehicle if you have one—if not, a car/truck that is not built close to the ground will work.
Cabin 1 is RIGHT ON GORGEOUS, YEAR-ROUND Piney Creek—not a prettier spot anywhere! Lots of room to
explore!
How to describe the beauty of this location is a big challenge. It
is widely known as the most beautiful spot on Piney Creek, and it sits at one of its widest points. Sit on a rock ledge and
let the water rush over you, or swim in the clear water. Catch some fish too! The photos do not nearly do it justice! It is
truly spectacular!
At our VERY PRIVATE AND ROMANTIC place on the Piney, you can easily kayak
down a nice long stretch with NO rough water or rapids and turn around and easily paddle back, or keep on floating!
Rustic, cozy cabin (one spacious room plus separate bathroom) with screened-in porch for 2 adults.
Cabin has EVERYTHING you need for a romantic getaway for 2 or perhaps 2 fishing buddies. How do we know it has all you
need? We know because we lived there very happily for over a year!

in porch has a ceiling fan, table/chairs, outside-type lounge and rocker, and shelves for your use..
The one spacious room cabin with separate bathroom is completely furnished: stove, fridge with top freezer,
washer/dryer. There is a wall heater, window AC, and a ceiling fan. Kitchen area has coffeemaker, microwave, toaster
oven, toaster, crock pot, rice cooker, dishes, pots 'n pans, silverware, dishtowels, etc.
Comfy queen size bed with extra pillows and, and there is a very comfortable sofa and recliner/rocker.
Bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
Satellite
TV, with DVR, phone, internet, WiFi.
Outside there is a nice picnic table
and a propane grill. Hey, there's even a fish-cleaning sink. More on that later.
In
the mood for stargazing and roasting marshmallows? A wonderful fire pit awaits you! Free wood.
There is NO trash service available in this area. Guests must take trash with them when checking out
of cabin. Do not place your trash outside at night--critters love your leftovers!
We
provide starter supply only of paper products: toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins, and washer detergent for linens.
Please stop on your way to pick up these items for your personal use.
